It's a tragedy that so many of our veterans — people who put their lives on the line for our country — end up living on the streets. At Community Thrift LA, we're committed to changing that reality, one veteran at a time.

What We Provide

• Warm clothing and weather-appropriate gear
• Sleeping bags and emergency blankets
• Solar-powered phone chargers (donated by supporters like Alyssa Milano)
• Backpacks and carrying bags
• Hygiene kits and toiletries
• Connection to additional resources and services

Regular Outreach

We visit veteran encampments and areas with high veteran populations throughout Los Angeles County. We're not a one-time service — we build relationships and provide consistent support.

Beyond Material Goods

Many homeless veterans struggle with isolation and feeling forgotten. We take time to listen, to hear their stories, and to remind them that their service matters and they matter. Sometimes the most important thing we can give is our presence and respect.
